Welcome to Roleplay Helper ("we," "us," or "our"), a service designed to assist roleplay communities on Discord. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and Discord bot services available at www.roleplayhelper.com (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Roleplay Helper, consistent with Discord's Terms of Service. The Service is primarily intended for users aged 18 and older who manage or participate in roleplay-related Discord servers.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must not misuse the Service.

Do not use the bot for unlawful, abusive, or malicious purposes.

Do not attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.

Do not upload, configure, or send content that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

We may limit or restrict access to certain features if needed to maintain system stability or protect other users.

3. User Content

The Service allows you to create custom configurations and messages ("User Content") within your Discord servers. You retain ownership of this content.

We store only the minimum information required for bot functionality and do not expose your server's data publicly.

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content complies with applicable laws and Discord's policies.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain premium features are available through paid subscriptions. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method according to your chosen plan.

You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging in, navigating to your server's plan, selecting Manage Plan, then Cancel, or by contacting our support team.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases like accidental charges, duplicate charges, or technical issues.

If you believe you should receive a refund, contact us. Stripe's refund and payment policies may also apply.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful activity.

If we terminate access, associated data may be deleted from our systems.

You may also remove the bot from your Discord server at any time, which will delete stored configuration data for that server.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with trusted third-party providers to function:

Discord - used for authentication and interaction with your Discord server(s).

Stripe - used for secure payment processing and subscription management.

Cloudflare and PloxHost - used for hosting, networking, performance, and security.

Your use of these providers is subject to their own Terms and Privacy Policies.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee accuracy, uptime, or reliability.

We are not responsible for any losses, data corruption, or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roleplay Helper, its owner, affiliates, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid (if any) for premium features in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

Some places do not allow certain liability limits. In those places, these limits apply only to the fullest extent allowed by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms over time. We will notify users of significant updates before they take effect through our Discord Support Server and on our website.

The latest version will always be available at www.roleplayhelper.com/terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United States and the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these Terms is ruled invalid, the rest remains in effect.
